About

Millenna Mitchell is a photo-based artist whose work weaves photography with preservation. Working primarily with analog formats, she approaches film as both subject and method—a way to preserve the photographic medium itself while exploring memory, time, and the act of keeping. Through this process, her images transport viewers into nostalgic visual narratives. Her work explores the interplay between memory and medium while challenging the traditional understanding of the photograph, inviting viewers to question its role and significance in contemporary culture.

Through her creative studio, mills images, Millenna works closely with artists, galleries, and creative teams across art, production, and storytelling. Drawing from her background in photography and arts administration, she helps bring creative visions to life—whether organizing exhibitions, supporting artists’ projects, or crafting visual and written content that connects people to art in meaningful ways. mills images serves as both an extension of her artistic practice and a collaborative space rooted in process, communication, and preservation.
